Padma Metals has specialised in the manufacture Aluminium alloy ingots and other Non- ferrous alloys.
It was started in 1978 by Mr. A.P. Joshi who has over thirty five years of experience in non-ferrous metallurgy.
Having obtained Masters degrees in Chemistry and Metallurgy and working in senior positions in leading Companies like COMINCO in Canada,
Binani Metal Works in Calcutta and Eyre Smelting (now Cookson India) in Madras, he could confidently start this venture.
The unit is managed since 1993 by his son, Mr. Deepak Joshi, who has graduated in Mechanical Engineering, from the College of Engineering,
Guindy and his wife Mrs. Manjushree Deepak Joshi
( BSc / LLB ).
Our sister concern M/s. Padmashree Alloys started in 2005 to manufacture Zinc die cast alloys (Zamak) and has an installed capacity is 500 MT per month . For zamak production 3 crucible furnaces of 0.5 MT and one of 2 MT are available. We use raw materials of the highest purity in the manufacture of Zinc alloys to ensure that trace elements like Tin. Lead and cadmium are tightly controlled. We are supplying zinc alloys to established companies like Sundaram Dynacast, SMR Automotive, Infac India Pvt Ltd, Sri Balaji Assemblies & Plastics, G-Plast Pvt Ltd., Roots Cast Pvt Ltd., Hi-Lex India Pvt Ltd., etc.,
